Our Role:

Southern Stainless fabricated and installed stainless safety handrails and pedestrian handrails running parallel with taxi and drop off locations within the arrivals area of Gold Coast Airport.

Material used was 50mm diameter x 3mm wall thickened mirror polished 316 marine grade stainless steel tube.

Mirror polished stainless tube offers excellent corrosion resistant against harsh coastal conditions, which was vital for this project's location.

All shop drawings were detailed in Solidworks and provided for approval prior to project fabrication.

We were able to successfully delivery the job within the client’s quick timeframe. All installation took place after hours, during night shift to enable continuous activity.
