Southern Stainless have recently acquired a factory at Ormeau and will be relocating on the 8th June ’15. The factory is 1100mt/2 and sits on a 2600mt/2 block. The factory layout has been planned to allow smooth flow of work from delivery of material, through to processing of material in heavy machinery then fabrication by tradesman at designated work areas. The well thought out floor plan is intended to increase productivity, allow for better quality assurance as well as increased health and Safety and Environmental Management.

The move to Ormeau will place Southern Stainless in the corridor between Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast which will not only expose the business to more work within these regions but allow for more competitive pricing through easy access via the M1 & Ipswich motorway  as well as being in a much closer proximity to our supply chain.
