Project Description: Southern Stainless was engaged to supply and install approximately 150 metres of stainless steel balustrade for the Kesterton Linkway in Neutral Bay, Sydney.
To streamline logistics and installation, the balustrade system was fabricated in modular sections, allowing for efficient transport and assembly onsite. The design incorporated a combination of flat and round stainless steel handrail elements, complemented by FRP (fibreglass reinforced panels) used as an architectural feature.
All stainless steel components were manufactured from high quality 316 marine grade material and fully electropolished after fabrication, ensuring a smooth, durable finish with enhanced corrosion resistance suitable for long-term outdoor exposure.
