We proudly fabricated and installed the stainless steel bicycle and pedestrian balustrades along Queen's Wharf on Brisbane River, which on the 30th October 2019 as well as the public spaces and experiences officially opened to the public.
In total for this commercial project we fabricated and installed a total of 950 metres of stainless steel pedestrian balustrade, as well as 350 metres of bicycle balustrades, which run parallel with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and is integrated through the QUT Ferry Terminal.
All stainless used was high quality 316 marine grade stainless steel that was locally sourced.
The stainless steel balustrade plates were water cut in-house at our Ormeau factory, polished to 600 grit then electropolished in-house improving its corrosion resistance.
Queen’s Wharf Brisbane will help put Brisbane on the map as a tourism, leisure and entertainment destination.
